The upgraded composite door construction matched with five layers of fireboard in the door, three layers in the body and a palusol heat expandable door seal give this gun safe a respectable 75 minute fire rating at 1400°F.

In terms of burglary, the Big Daddy earned the UL RSC rating due to its 12 gauge steel construction, drill resistant hard plate, auxiliary relocker, pry-resistant recessed door, reinforced steel return door jamb, titanium disk lock protection and of course the 3-way, 1.5" solid steel locking bolts.

A UL listed S&G mechanical lock is standard on the safe with the option to upgrade to an Electronic Lock for a small fee.
