Should you decide you no longer want the item and want to return it, for whatever reason, we guarantee a STRESS FREE return process.

PLEASE NOTE: Custom built safe orders cannot be cancelled or returned after they have been ordered and put into production.

Shippping Method Information:

Best 1-5 Business Days: Item(s) will be shipped via the best method available (via FedEx or USPS) for you to receive your item(s) in 1-5 Business Days. The shipping method used will be displayed in the 'Shipping Confirmation' e-mail that you will receive when your item(s) are shipped.

  • Items with a value of over $200 will require an indirect signature for delivery. If you are unable to receive the item at time of delivery, print this FedEx Tag and hang it on your front door to bypass the signature process.

Pick-Up: Item is available in-store and is eligible for in-store pick-up/will call. Call for more information.

Freight DropShip: This item is a "Drop Ship" item. The item will be shipped directly to you by the manufacturer.

Freight/Freight Calculated: Items over 150lbs will be shipped via Freight.

  • On certain safes, delivery into the garage is available at an additional charge. Otherwise, all deliveries will be to curbside only. Pallet on safes will remain attached.
  • Items over 2,500lbs will be shipped to the customer's local FedEx Depot unless otherwise specified. Transportation from the FedEx Depot to the final destination is the responsibility of the buyer.

3 Day Select: Item guaranteed to arrive in 3 days.

2 Day Air: Item guaranteed to arrive in 2 days.

Next Day Air: Item guaranteed to arrive next day.

Items in stock are shipped same business day by 3:00pm PST.

Multiple items in the same order may or may not be grouped together in the same shipment, depending on the size and weight of each item.

Return Policy:

  • You have 30 days to return your order from the date that you received it
  • The product must be in brand new, sellable condition with the original packaging and instructions
  • We process returns the same day we receive the item, however, please allow up to 2 business days for the return to be completed
  • For all Non-Defective and Non-Damaged items, it is the responsibility of the buyer to send back the item
    • Please Note: Manufacturers periodically change the dimensions of their products. A product is not considered damaged or defective due to size discrepancies.
  • Upon request, Dean Safe can provide a return label and will deduct the cost of the label from the refund
  • If you live in the Los Angeles area, you can always return the items to any of our retail stores
  • Hollon Safes, Rhino Safes, Barska, V-Line and Vaultek safes returned outside of original packaging are subject to a restocking fee up to 15%
  • Orders that are cancelled after they are shipped are subject to a restocking fee of the actual shipping costs

Due to the unique nature of the products that we sell, we encourage you to keep all packaging for a period of at least 30 days. In the event the product turns out to be defective, damaged, or has any issue, you will need to use the original packaging to send the product back to us undamaged. If you throw away the packaging, Dean Safe will not be held responsible for any packaging costs incurred by the buyer to return the product back to us. Thank you for your cooperation regarding this matter.

Refund Policy:

  • All payments will be refunded through the customer's original form of purchase minus return shipping costs if a return label is provided for the return of new items.

Defective & Damaged Products Policy:

  • In the event you receive a defective, non-functional or damaged item, Dean Safe will replace the item at absolutely no cost to the buyer. Dean Safe will pay for the shipping of the new item to the buyer, as well as the return of the defective, non-functional or damaged item back to Dean Safe
  • Buyer must return the defective, non-functional or damaged item unless instructed to do otherwise
  • If an item turns out to be non-defective upon receipt, the cost of the return label will be deducted from the refund


At Dean Safe, we ship all in stock orders by 12:00 pm PST Same Business Day. If you wish to cancel your order, you must contact us before the item is shipped to receive a full refund. If you decide to cancel an order after it has shipped, you will be responsible for returning the item to us.

In the event you decide to refuse a shipment that is not damaged, you will be responsible for shipping costs and potential restocking fees. In the event the product is damaged, contact Customer Support immediately for further instructions.
