The Colonial 23 CO23 Gun Safe by Liberty makes great fire protection available to everyone. Cranking up the heat to 1200°, the Colonial 23 is built to last a total of 75 minutes, certified 83,000 BTUs. This is accomplished with advanced fire and heat protection from the 3 layers of 5/8" fireboard in the ceiling, doorjambs and door with another 2 layers in the walls. The included Palusol heat expandable door seal will grow to 7 times its normal size blocking out heat and smoke from damaging contents inside.

For Security, Liberty uses its unique 2-piece roll form X-Cam direct drive mechanism that strengthens security and helps prevent prying and attempted weld breaks. The 12 gauge body with external re-locker and triple hard plates help prevent drilling attacks. The SureTight handle with Slip Clutch prevents torquing attacks, also included is the UL Listed SecuRam Backlit Electronic Lock for added security.

After you've entered the correct combo on the electronic lock, you'll begin to turn the SureTight 3-Spoke handle and retract the 4-sided solid steel Military style locking bars. As the door of the Colonial 23 begins to open you'll notice the included economy door panel organizer that maximizes storage space with pistol pockets, mesh pouches and zippered pockets. The interior features the 3-in-1 flex interior capable of storing up to 25 long guns. Liberty now also includes a Factory installed single power outlet kit that allows you to charge and run electronics inside the safe.
