The Kodiak KBX5933 Gun Safe is a brand new upgraded version of Rhino's KB Kodiak series with added security features to make it even better! The KBX series now comes with the brand new SAFEX® Security System - the next generation of safe security systems! Rhino has designed this with a revolutionary locking system that interlocks the safe door to the body, without traditional bars or bolts.

In addition to the NEW SAFEX® Security System added to this safe, the Rhino KBX5933 is a California DOJ Approved Firearm Safety Device due to its new locking system and 14 gauge steel construction on the door and body.

The Rhino KBX5933 comes with a 40 minute fire rating at 1400º F to your valuables stored inside. The safe has protective fireboard that attributes to this rating in the ceiling, walls, floor and door. The inner door frame is lined with a heat activated Palusol® Fire Door Seal that will expand up to eight times its size, to help keep out smoke and heat.

Standard on the KBX5933 SafeX Kodiak Gun Safe is a UL® Listed Electronic Lock. Protecting the lock is a Hardened Armor Plate and Spring-Loaded Re-locker, which offers extra protection in the case of an attempted drill attack. The patented Anti-Tamper Clutched Handle prevents someone from torquing the safe open via the handle.

The inside of the KBX5933 Kodiak Gun Safe is fully upholstered and comes with Rhino's silver heather interior carpet lining. Included in the interior of this model is a Dual Gun Rack that can Store up to 46 Long Guns, an adjustable Storage Top Shelf and 3 Smaller Adjustable Storage Shelves. On the back of the door comes a Door Panel Organizer with handgun holders and pockets for even more storage inside the safe. In addition, Rhino added an Internal Electrical Power Outlet that has multiple plug-in's and USB slots.

The KBX5933 Gun Safe comes in a Textured Black Powder-Coated Finish and Chrome 3-Spoke Vault Style Turn Handle. Once you open the door of the KBX5933, the external pin hinges allow the door to open a full 180° to have complete access to the contents of your safe.
