Works well. There are a few things I don’t like about it though. They have to be very close to each other in order to connect. Mine has to be less than 2 feet away. The screen dims after 5 seconds but it dims too much and is barely visible especially if you’re not right next to it. You have to go over to it and tap it in order to read it which to mean sort of defeats the purpose of having it displayed on the outside of your safe (especially since it has to be so close to the safe in order to connect.) The magnets are very weak, they couldn’t hold onto my safes door, it immediately slid right down so I have to have it sit on top of my safe instead. I like it enough to not go through the trouble of returning it but I wouldn’t buy another one of these I’d buy one that’s the same concept (the screen on the outside reader on the inside) but better quality. It reads the humidity as it should though which is the most important part.

The Lockdown Digital Hygrometer from Dean Safe arrived in a timely manner and works very well. It seems accurate on both ends. I have the receiver setting on a desk about six feet from front of safe and have had no problems with connection to remote sensor. First time using this kind of set up and before this i never knew what the humidity level was inside of my safe. Great having the peace of mind provided by this unit. I am still adjusting my humidity control measures, this unit is making the process much easier.

Good device that is fairly accurate. Has to be right next to safe or doesn't sync (less than one foot for my safe). Otherwise good product.
