Looking for a large capacity, high security floor safe?
Look no further, the Amsec B5800 is here! AMSEC really outdid themselves on the Super BRUTE, often considered one of the best, if not the best, floor safe line on the market today.
When properly installed in concrete, the Amsec B5800 offers excellent burglary protection and actually exceeds the requirements of the insurance offices manual of burglary insurance. The Amsec B5800 floor safe features three 1" diameter, drive resistant chromed steel locking bolts with a long throw. The 3/4" solid steel plate door is designed to fit the full body size which greatly reduces and helps prevent the possibility of a pry attack. In the event the hinges are removed from the door, a heavy duty dead bar is located behind the hinge to prevent removal of the door during a forced entry attempt.
The Amsec B5800 body includes an oversized floor plate ensuring strong installation in concrete and with the 3/8" diameter steel hinge pins this safe is built to last for years and years.
On the door of the Amsec B5800 lies your lock of choice and with a convenient, large 10-3/4" x 11-1/8" door opening, you'll have no problems getting items in and out. During a punch attack, an additional spring loaded relocking device is activated and both the lock and relocker are protected by a large carburized hardplate. A 3M Lexan escutcheon plate covers the entire door surface while not in use allowing for a flat surface while the safe is hidden.
The interior of the safe features an attractive carpeted floor to protect your valuables from scratches.
AMSEC stands behind and believes in the quality of the Amsec B5800 by offering a 1 year parts and labor warranty and a lifetime replacement warranty if your safe is ever subject to a sledgehammer or pry attack and is forcibly entered.
While floor safes offer great security being easily hidden and surrounded by concrete, these same features also make them extremely susceptible to moisture problems. Keeping papers and valuables inside zip lock bags and Tupperware help when experiencing a fire or flood, humidity will still seep inside causing mildew and corrosion. We strongly recommend using a Lockdown Silica Gel Can to absorb this moisture and keep your valuables safe. It's a small, rechargeable unit that has a color indicator letting you know it's full and needs to be renewed. You should open your safe (especially after initial installation) frequently to assess moisture and check the silica gel. How often the units need recharging depends on your climate and how often you are in your safe. For any questions regarding humidity and moisture, give us a call at 800-827-7534.
