This particular color variation of the Fort Knox Maverick 6031 Gun Safe we have in stock to offer you shorter lead time for your safe. This model comes in a Dark Granite Textured Finish and Black Chrome Hardware, PLUS a number of upgrades added. This size Maverick comes in many other color options available for custom order (10 week lead time) to view a customizable version of this model view here. The upgrades on this in stock model is the included light kit, dehumidifier rod, black chrome hinge caps and door panel organizer.
While considered the low end of the Fort Knox products, the Fort Knox Maverick 6031 still laughs at nearly all "Gun Safes" in the industry today and maintains most of the standard features found on the Vault lines.
Cranking up the heat to 1200°, the Fort Knox Maverick 6031 is fire rated for 75 minutes of Inferno Shield fire protection with its 1-1/8" reinforced fire door consisting of 3/8" steel plate, 1 layer of fireboard and 10-gauge outer reinforcement. Add in the heat activated Palusol dual thermal door seal and your vault will be locked, sealed and ready to block the worst that flames have to offer.
When it comes to security, the Fort Knox Maverick 6031 is UL listed due to its 11 gauge steel, uni-body construction with Quadrafold door frame, drill deflector bolt guard and (9) 1-1/2" diameter active solid steel locking bolts.
On the door of the Fort Knox Maverick 6031 lies a S&G Electronic Lock protected by a drill stop hard plate with recessed multi-bearings. After you enter in the correct combination, you'll turn the black chrome 5 spoke clutch drive handle and see the beautiful silver interior.
All Fort Knox safes come with a factory installed power outlet kit inside the safe, allowing you to charge and use electronics like watch winders, dehumidifiers or lights.
