The American Security RF6528 is the only U.L. Listed TL-30 burglary and fire resistant gun safes in the United States. They are built with premier Made in USA quality and in the AMSEC Fontana, California factory.
When it comes to security, the AMSEC RF6528 has an overall door thickness of 6 inches, constructed with a 3 ½ inch defense barrier of outer and inner steel plates creating a single structure enclosing 12,000 PSI high-strength concrete and a unique, high density fire and burglary resistant composite material consisting of a proprietary amalgamation of nuggets and steel fibers. The proprietary inner barrier also protects against peeling attacks.
The body of the AMSEC RF6528 encases a total thickness of 3 ½ inches enclosing a high density fire resistant composite material with nuggets and steel fibers. The locking mechanism consists of 10 massive 1 ½" solid steel locking bolts that move deep into the body's protected bolt chambers. The reinforced drill resistant door frame protects the door and each individual bolt chamber from severe side attacks.
The AMSEC RF6528 has 2 stage dual fire seals with silicone seals on the door jamb and an expandable Palusol seal on the door to add to the massive 120 minutes of fire protection at 1850 degrees. The interior temperature remains less than 350 degrees for the entire duration of the test.
The safe has comes with a combination lock with key-locking spy-proof dial, which is protected by a proprietary patented hard plate and internal re-locker.
The AMSEC RF6528 now comes standard with a LED light kit and the interior includes the standard gun rack interior with dual racks and adjustable and removable side shelves.
