The Browning PRM49 Primal Gun Safe received the UL Residential Security Container Burglary Rating due to its steel construction and security features. The door on this safe is built with 1" Formed Door with a partial inner plate. The body of the safe is constructed with 12 gauge steel.
The Primal Gun Safe PRM49 by Browning, comes with a full 1 hour fire rating that was tested at 1400 degrees Fahrenheit. The safe comes with specialty Thermablock fire insulation, which means there are thicker sheets of fire insulation arranged in an interlocking design that minimizes gaps to prevent the internal safe temperature from rising during a fire. The PRM49 model safe has 1 ½" of fire insulation in the ceiling, 1" in the body and 1" in the door. The door is also reinforced for extra security.
Securing the door shut are 8 total (5 active) 1" thick chrome-lined locking bolts. These bolts use a 3-way locking system, meaning they lock into the top and both sides of the safe.
Standard on the PRM49 Primal 49 gun safe is a UL Listed SecuRam Electronic Lock. The lock is protected by a hardened steel pin. Another layer of security, is the Force Deflector™ locking system in the case of an attempted break in.
The door on this Primal model comes with the Browning DPX Door Storage System, including a Half DPX Door Panel. On this DPX half door panel is the Quick Access Barrel Rack, Pistol Holsters and Mesh Pockets.
The beige carpet-lined interior on the Primal 49 comes with adjustable shelving for neatly storing your valuables inside. The carpet material lining the interior of the safe is meant to protect your valuables from getting scratched while securely stored inside. The PRM49 model comes with 3 High Capacity Barrel Racks. All interior shelves are wood, also lined with carpeted material to prevent scratches.
The Browning PRM49 Primal Gun Safe comes in a Black Textured Finish with a Chrome 3-spoke Handle. The interior of the safe comes with an elevated floor to prevent your guns from getting bumped on the bottom door lining will pulling them out of your safe. The heavy duty hinges allow you to open the door of the safe a complete 180 degrees.
The Browning PRM49 Primal 49 Gun Safe comes with the Browning Lifetime ProSteel Warranty. This lifetime warranty covers break-in, attempted break-in, or fire.
