VERY please with the safe. I recommend if you are looking at the AF2924 consider the NF5924. I looked at the AF in person and planned to purchase it until I started reading about the NF5924 and read reviews. It's a much more solid safe for the extra money. Also much heavier!
Now for the bad part.
1. When I ordered it said the safe would ship and be delivered within business days so of course I am going to constantly check the shipping progress. After not seeing it shipped out after 4 or 5 days I called them. They said the doomsday lock was on back order from AMSEC and may not be in for 3 weeks, which was very frustrating they did not communicate that information. They did get the lock in within 10 days of talking with them.
2. The Daylight shipping company was not providing many updates with the progress after it arrived in Portland. When I called them they said it was scheduled to be delivered in 2-3.5 hours from that phone call. I got off of work early to receive the safe just to find out it was to be delivered at the next carrier which was TP shipping. I finally heard from them scheduling a delivery time, which happen to work well with my girlfriends schedule. After not hearing from them I called to find out the truck broke down (out of their control) and stated they would not be out until the following Monday. No one was going to be home at that time which was super frustrating and told them that over the phone. They did end up coming the next day(Friday). From my understanding the delivery driver was not that pleasant and did not put the safe where I specifically asked them over the phone and with my girlfriend not wanting to cause any problems she let it fly and let him be rude. At that point I was just happy my safe arrived!
I looked it all over before I removed it from the pallet. It did have scratches here and there and in at least 1 spot chipped paint. I just was exhausted with dealing with them so I just took it inside and bolted it down.
Overall I am really happy with the safe and the upgraded lock (dial+ electronic).
