The Desk Mate handgun safe is made of 14 gauge outer body metal. It has a continuous hinge that is welded on one end to prevent its pin from being removed. The handgun safe has anti-pry brackets in the inside to provide additional strength and security. The door is recessed into the safe for added protection.
