Just like its big brother the Hide-Away Handgun safe, you can have quick access, but in a secure place where no one will know you have a safe. It mounts easy under most desks, shelves, and cabinets. You simply put your code in the heavy duty mechanical push-button lock, let the gravity assist door fall open and you have access to your handgun.

The Desk Mate handgun safe is made of 14 gauge outer body metal. It has a continuous hinge that is welded on one end to prevent its pin from being removed. The handgun safe has anti-pry brackets in the inside to provide additional strength and security. The door is recessed into the safe for added protection.

This unit is a California “Department of Justice” approved handgun safe. This safe has been tested and proven its ability to stand up against light attack. If you want a quick and reliable safe that is easily hiding then this is the correct handgun safe for you.
