Our current safe store was opened in the San Fernando Valley in early 1978, where three generations of the Dean family have served the public ever since. Over the years it has grown from a modest 700 square feet to over 15,000 square feet of store and warehouse, often having a safe inventory into the thousands.

The Key to this success is the right inventory. FBI
statistics state that over 80% of all people who purchase safes buy the wrong
type of safe. With over 32 different fire and security ratings, this should
come as no surprise.
Most safe retailers will carry 1, 2, or 3 different ratings at the most, so all but a few customers will end up the wrong type of safe for their needs.

We stock small UL-rated fireboxes, up to 6000 pound high security jewelry safes. Most of our safes are UL-rated, meaning they have been rigorously tested against burglary and/or fire. We stock extra units in our warehouse, sometimes as many as 50-60 of the same safe, because they are our best
