Our current safe store was opened in the San Fernando Valley in early 1978, where three generations of the Dean family have served the public ever since. Over the years it has grown from a modest 700 square feet to over 15,000 square feet of store and warehouse, often having a safe inventory into the thousands.

The Key to this success is the right inventory.  FBI statistics state that over 80% of all people who purchase safes buy the wrong type of safe. With over 32 different fire and security ratings, this should come as no surprise.

Most safe retailers will carry 1, 2, or 3 different ratings at the most, so all but a few customers will end up the wrong type of safe for their needs.

Our solution has been to offer the customer a large selection of safes by stocking most of the ratings and sizes of safes. That way we can fit the safe to the customer rather than trying to fit the customer to safe.

Over the years we have looked at virtually every safe manufacturer in the market and have rigorously handpicked from each what we feel are "Category Killers" (the very best safes in each category). Our goal is to protect our customers' valuables with the best rating and quality versus price in the market.

We stock small UL-rated fireboxes, up to 6000 pound high security jewelry safes. Most of our safes are UL-rated, meaning they have been rigorously tested against burglary and/or fire. We stock extra units in our warehouse, sometimes as many as 50-60 of the same safe, because they are our best sellers. Because of the volume of safes we sell, we are able to pick and choose Category Killers from the most prestigious safe manufacturers in the world. Our large sales volume and large orders of semi-truck loads guarantee competitive prices. We have one entire room devoted exclusively to gun safes, ranging in size from 10 to 60 cubic feet. All of our safes are ready to go.

On November 11, 1998, we started our presence on the website with just three pages. We now feature many of our safes on the internet and we ship across the United States. From our front line consultants to our behind the scenes associates we consider our number one priority to be customer service. We have the equipment and expertise to move safes weighing up to 8000 pounds, anywhere in Southern California within five working days. For your protection and security, we do our own deliveries (no farming out to the lowest bidder). We deliver to many sensitive federal and state government agencies in California, so our drivers and delivery personal have had security checks done by the FBI. Last but not least no store name appears on our delivery trucks.
