The International Fortress FX-7236 is an extremely heavy duty high security TL-30X6 safe. This safe was bought from a business who no longer needed the safe. These safes are normally priced in the $16K price range or higher. The safe has white paint marks on the bottom hinge and shows some slight wear from its previous owner on the inside. All components of the safe are in working condition. This safe comes with (2) locks on the front: one electronic and one mechanical dial lock. The safe has a 2 hour fire rating, massive steel door and body. Both the door and body have a composite fill and steel plates. The interior comes with 3 adjustable steel shelves. The safe is finished in a blue-ish gray paint and comes with a chrome tri-spoke handle and pull handle to help open the heavy door. This safe is sold as is. The International Fortress TL-30X6, six-sided composite construction offers a revolutionary new barrier material incorporating a steel and ceramic matrix on all six sides of the safe. The ceramic matrix is anchored by a “Z” bar connection system that makes the inner and outer layers of steel as well as the composite material as one. By using this unique construction, the safe achieves a high degree of burglary protection while being relatively light in weight.
The door and body are constructed of inner and outer layers of steel electrically welded together incorporating our superior composite material in conjunction with a steel and ceramic matrix to resist all forms of attack.
Exclusive to the TL-30X6 Series is an intumescent gasket that expands by 10 times its size to seal the connection between the door and the body to help prevent the transfer of heat to the interior of the safe. The safe has been factory tested and has achieved a 2 hour fire rating
The massive 1.5" chrome plated bolts are secured with Underwriters Laboratories Group 2M combination lock and electronic lock. All locks are protected by a tempered glass plate that activates the relocking system during an attack. The boltwork is further protected by bolt detent system that automatically extends the bolts when the door is closed.
