John Dean Says: All AmSec SF gun safes by American Security feature a sixty minute fire rating at 1200° F. It will maintain the interior temperature of less than 350°. They have a two stage dual fire seals with silicone seal on door jamb and expandable Palusol™ seal on the door. They have a all-velour interior including back-cover and firewalls. They come standard with a Premium Door Organizer (PDO) which maximizes storage space and offers quick access to commonly used items. They come standard with a mechanical lock but can be equipped with an optional electronic lock.

- 1/4-inch steel plate door with 3 layers of fire insulating material
- 3-way bolt work with five active 1-1/4-inch diameter chrome-plated locking bolts and three 1-1/4-inch deadbolts
- Each safe offers 4 precut anchor holes and 1 precut electrical access hole.
