This Liberty Franklin 25 gun safe was given to us by a customer looking to buy a newer safe. The safe is from the 2008, 4th quarter. This older safe shows some wear and tear from its previous owner along with some scratches on the right side. All components are in working condition. The safe comes with an S&G mechanical dial combination lock, is built with 11 gauge steel, comes with multiple adjustable interior shelves, a gun interior and is finished in a granite textured paint. This older model of the Liberty Franklin series is from 2008. The safe comes with a full 60 minute certified fire protection. Giving its fire protection is the layers of fireboard in the safe. There are 3 full layers of fireboard in the ceiling, door and jambs, plus 2 layers of fireboards in the walls. Combined with the palusol door seal, which prevents smoke from entering the safe in the case of the fire, you can rest easy.
Due to the security, this safe received the U.L. Residential Security Container burglary rating. The body of the safe is constructed with heavy duty 11-gauge steel. Securing the door shut are 12 total 1 ¼" thick steel locking bolts. On the front of the door comes the S&G mechanical dial combination lock.
This Liberty safe is finished in a granite textured paint and comes with a chrome 3-spoke handle to retract the bolts and open the door. The interior comes with a dual gun rack for neatly storing your long guns. Multiple adjustable shelves are included for organized storage of your smaller valuables. The entire interior is lined with a carpeted material to prevent your valuables from being scratched while stored inside. An outlet is installed inside to plug in items like a dehumidifier, light kit, electronics, etc.
