When it comes to security, the Liberty Premium LX-17 Home Safe was given the Underwriters Laboratories (UL) Residential Security Container Burglary Listing due to its thick steel constructed door and body, along with its fourteen 1 ¼” Steel Locking bolts.This safe is California DOJ Approved to store firearms.
On the front of the LX-17 Liberty Premium Home Safe 17, lies the SecurRam TopLit Electronic Lock that comes standard on this safe. A mechanical Lock option plus other lock options are available with upgrade. Protecting the lock, are 3 hardened steel plates that will provide ultimate protection from drilling attacks. In addition, multiple re-lockers will lock the safe down in the event of an attempted brute force entry.
The Liberty LX-17 Premium home safe 17 comes with a 90 minute fire rating at 1200 degrees Fahrenheit. To provide additional fire protection, the LX-17 comes with a Palusol heat-activated door seal that will expand to protect against smoke and heat coming into the safe.
For style and function, the Liberty Premium 17 Home Safe LX-17 comes in a marble finish with black chrome hardware. The interior is lined with silver velour carpet and comes with four adjustable or removable carpet lined shelves. On the inside of the door comes a deluxe door storage panel.
