This Browning Prestige 49 Gun Safe was used prior and traded in by a customer for a new safe. It shows signs of wear & tear from the previous owner, the exterior has some paint scratches & chips, with rust on one hinge cap. The Browning Prestige 49 gun safe received the UL Residential Security Container Burglary Rating due to its heavy duty construction and security features. The door on this safe is built with 1-11/16" Duo-Formed® thick formed steel door, plus an inner steel protective plate. The body is constructed with thick 10 gauge steel.
The Prestige 49 Browning gun safe comes with a 110 minute fire rating that was tested at 1700 degrees Fahrenheit. The safe comes with 2-1/2" thick fire material in the ceiling and body, plus 2-3/8" of fire material in the door, giving this safe its quality fire protection.
Securing the door shut are Browning's Gear Drive Locking System, with 4" x 1" Max Bolts. These bolts use a 3-way locking system, meaning they lock into the top of the safe and both sides. The safe also has Pry-Stop End Bolts, which secure the critical door corners. These End Bolts are more than 2 ½ times longer than regular bolts, they attach to a high-strength steel angle that prevents the locking bolts support bar from bending in a pry attack.
Standard on the Prestige 49 gun safe is a UL Listed S&G mechanical dial combination lock. The lock is protected by a hardened steel pin. Another layer of security, is the Force Deflector™ locking system in the case of an attempted break in.
A very unique feature that sets the Browning Prestige 49 gun safe apart from any other safe is its interior. The door comes with the Browning DPX Door Storage System, including a Premium Full DPX Door Panel. On this DPX door panel is the Quick Access Barrel Rack, Scope Saver, pistol holsters and storage pockets.
Besides the Premium Door Panel, the patented AXIS adjustable silicone-lined (to protect your firearms) shelving is another unique feature that Browning adds to the Prestige 49 gun safe. This particular size comes with 5 total AXIS adjustable shelves, 3 high capacity barrel racks & 1 pistol rack. Browning AXIS interior system allows you to purchase additional interior accessories that can be added into the Prestige 49 interior to best fit your needs.
The Browning Prestige series is finished in a black gloss paint finish. The entire interior comes in a beautiful, antiqued heather style & raised floor. The Prestige 49 gun safe comes with a pre-installed electrical outlet kit and LED light package. The heavy duty hinges allow you to open the door of the safe a complete 180 degrees.
