AMSEC's UL listed UL1812 will withstand a roaring fire up to 1850 degrees F for two full hours - and then a 30-foot fall, which is equivalent to falling from the second story. Hard to beat that! Imagine knowing all your important documents and expensive items are secured in that kind of protection.
In terms of security, the AMSEC UL1812 Fire Safe has a strong 3 ½” Thick recessed door with 5/8” thick front for excellent pry resistance. The locking mechanism is handle-activated with two 7/8” in diameter solid steel locking bolts.
On the front of the UL 1812 fire safe comes a UL listed mechanical combination dial lock. You can also upgrade your lock to the ESL5 Electronic Lock. Both locks will be protected with a Auxiliary Spring-Loaded relocking device.
This particular model comes in AMSEC's Sandstone Textured Finish. The safe comes with a brass drop-down l-shape turn handle. All color options come with 1” rubber feet on the bottom of the safe.
The interior of the AMSEC UL1812 comes with one fabric lined shelf that can be adjusted or removed.
The American Security UL1812 fire safe is protected by a LIFETIME FREE REPLACEMENT GUARANTEE. This assures the owner free replacement of a safe that is damaged beyond repair by a fire. The safe will be replaced with a current production model of comparable value. The damaged safe must be returned to the factory, freight prepaid, within 30 days of the fire with a proper fire report.
