Most companies claim their safes can withstand this but at the end of the day, it's not real unless you have the rating to prove it. With a TL-30 rating, Hollon really outdid themselves on the MJ series. Their team of experts punished these safes with sledgehammers, pickaxes, crowbars, pry bars, chisels, power saws, drills and rotating disc cutters. It not only survived the attacks, but far exceeded them earning it the prestigious TL-30 burglary rating.
So what makes the MJ-1814 a high security safe? Let's start with the door consisting of a 1/4" armor plate steel, then add in varying thicknesses of 10, 8 and 3 gauge steel combined with aluminum concrete mixture in between another slab of hardened steel. Add in the hard plate and re-lockers and it's easy to see how this safe can survive a sophisticated attack for 30 minutes.
As if that's not enough, the MJ-1814 also offers the maximum protection against high-intensity fires. With a 2 hour factory tested rating, this safe maintained an internal temperature below 350° for 2 hours with an external temperature reaching up to 1750°!

The MJ-1814 hollon safe in particular weighs 611 lbs and is one of the toughest, if not the toughest TL-30 safe on the market. The safe comes with interior shelving that can be removed or adjusted, your preference. The safe also comes with one pre-drilled bolt down hole to secure the safe down.
